Meet Our Pastor

 

Dr. Steve McGinnis has served as Senior Pastor of Macedonia Baptist Church since October 2006. Steve's first love in ministry is disciple-making - which he believes begins at the moment of contact with a person - and continues as a lifelong process through the simple biblical approach of Bible teaching and sharing faith. Steve and Stacy are natives of Anniston, AL and previously served in Calhoun Baptist Association at Harmony Baptist Church. He has preached in various revival meetings from Pennsylvannia, Kentucky, and Alabama. He also has served in various leadership roles in both Calhoun and Cleburne Baptist Associations.

 

Steve is a lifelong learner of God's Word and has received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from Jacksonville State University, a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and a Doctor of Ministry (D. Min) from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.
